Kid’s Day @ Roaring River

On May 17th, Roaring River State Park will have its annual Spring Kids Free Fishing Day.

Youth will have the opportunity to fish all day for free, and one section of the river will be sectioned off just for the youth. The river will be restocked periodically throughout the day.

Children ages 15 and under will be able to get their tags for the event for free from the park store on the evening of Friday, May 17th and on Saturday, May 18th. There will be one section specially designated only for youth 15 and under to fish in all day long.

Come out to beautiful Roaring River State Park, connect with nature and watch the kids catch some fish.

MAKO Fall Outing

Some will arrive earlier in the week, but the fun is Saturday! Fishing, hiking or relaxing, its your choice! If you don’t camp, just come down for the day. Saturday afternoon we will have our traditional pot luck cookout at the River Shelter, across from the Park Store, starting around 1 pm. Bring your lawn chairs, favorite beverages and a favorite dish to share!, the Club will provide paper products and utensils! It’s a great time to enjoy club members and the day!

MAKO Spring Club Outing @ Roaring River

We will arrive on Friday, some will arrive on Thursday, but the fun is Saturday! Fishing, hiking or relaxing, its your choice! If you don’t camp, just come down for the day.
